Europium dopped trimetallic nanoparticles (LaMgPO4:Eu2+ and AlZnPO4:Eu2+) were synthesized by chemical precipitation method. The nanoparticles were characterized by different spectroscopic techniques such as UV-VIS, SEM and FTIR etc. The structure and morphology of these nanoparticles was probed by SEM techniques. It confirmed the surface morphology, indicating an average diameter of 90nm and 70nm, along with respective lengths of 2µm and 1µm. These nanoparticles exhibit colloidal stability, optical transparency and minimum cellular toxicity. UV-visible spectrum of LaMgPO4:Eu2+ & AlZnPO4:Eu2+ NPs were examined that depicted number of transitions and noticeable peaks at 212-650nm.The synthesized nanoparticles were examined for their potential applications in preparation of invisible security inks. The results confirmed their use in invisible security inks.
